about

"This short release is a blast of stinking, fuzzed-up Death Metal mixed with Prog and Doom, but also experimental and groovy stuff. It hits like a truck and then reverses over you again and again."

"It’s majestically nasty and sounds as if Entombed got possessed by a horde of bloodthirsty daemons and went on a rampage."

"It’s hard not to fall in love with something like this. It’s so short and barbed that you can’t help just wanting to listen to it again and again."

"Oh yeah; the songs. They’re really damn good. And yeah; it’s got a great, dirty recording too."

"Anyway, all that really matters is how much this absolutely rocks the shit out of the Death and Prog Metal styles."

Volume 1 of a two part debut EP. A truly ambitious debut, this EP is heavy, melodic, progressive and unconfined. Though diverse in it's influence, the album manages to establish a unique sound that belongs solely to Transmundane. The base tone of this album, is aggressive, dark and heavy, but it's not afraid to explore melody and drive forward with emotions to match it's sheer intensity and progressive approach. This music, although tasteful in song writing, also pushes the boundaries typically associated with song writing. A fine line is walked successfully for those who enjoy heavy music.
